Houston, Texas

 

The wife, kids, and I went to Texas in May 2013.  This was my first time to visit the Lone Star State for an extended period of time.  Houston has a lot to offer the midwestern traveler.  Shopping was fun at The Galleria shopping center.  The Science Museum was great, as was the Houston Children's Museum.  We ate at Kenny and Ziggy's restaurant and the food was very good.  The Beer Can House Tour was awesome!  Flying into the Houston Hobby Airport was a breeze.  The Johnson Space Center was out of this world cool.  If you are looking to spend 3-5 days in Texas, Houston is a great place to visit.
